Raspberry Peach Swirl

I'm back home! Yay! I can't wait for Friday to roll around so I can spend the whole day doing my nails. While I was house sitting I was getting stuck for ideas mainly because of having such a small amount of polishes with me! That and I never really had a chance to do my nails. But I have some ideas rolling around in my head now :]

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Models Own - Golden Peach
Stamp Colour: N.Y.C - Foil'er Up
Plate: Konad - M63

Top Coat: Rimmel

Golden Peach is a great colour, and the frosty gold to it cools it down in a way, however I was a little bit saddened by how sheer it was, and it gave me a slight case of lobster hands. Foil'er Up is such an amazing coloured chrome though! So glad to have it in my stamping collection now ^_^ Apologies for the smeared stamp, I've ran out of my preferred top coat ( I scraped the walls of the bottle for the mani before this) and I used a Rimmel one, 10 day wear I think.

Also please excuse the state of my cuticles, and the fact the swatch is pre clean up. I seriously need a cuticle oil rather than lotion. Anyone have any recommendations?

LA Color Static Electricity & Bundle Monster

Another quick post today, I haven't posted in what feels like an age, and I just haven't had the motivation while coping with these dreaded dogs ¬_¬ But I'll be back to posting regularly and doing my nails without hassle in a day or two. I really can't wait to go home, I've had more than enough time with these dogs. I want my own bed, and my kitties!

This stamp just reminds me of the old school Pepsi sign.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: L.A. Color - Static Electricity
Stamp Colour: China Glaze - Millennium
Plate: BM206
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

M&S Mini & Chrome Multi Stamp Mani

You can't really tell too well from these pictures, but there's actually two chromes, pale pink, and a lilac, which switch top and bottom on alternating finger; if that makes any sense. For this I used 3 different Bundle Monster image plates and one Konad plate.

The blue is from a set of 4 mini's that I got as a "hard work" present from my old managers (<3 them) in the set there was a bright pink creme, a yellow, and two glass flecked polishes; this blue, and a turquoise mint type colour.

Direct sunlight, 2 coats of the blue.

Base coat: CND - Stickey
Base colour: Unknown M&S
Stamp Colours: N.Y.C - Foil For You & Techno Foil
Plates Used: BM207, BM208, BM215 & M64

Peacocks Gold Glitter Swatch

Ever since the contract for my job ended my boyfriend's been picking me up polishes here and there ^_^ So this is a random swatch of one he picked up from Peacock's the store :]

Trouble is; the glitter had pretty much solidified especially on the bottom, so I had to keep thinning it to make it usable. Because of the formula and the condition of it it took a while to dry, and took three coats for full coverage. At least it's super sparkly :]

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Colour: EVIE Glam - Gold Glitter
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

WAH Inspired Pop Art Mani.

Conditions are proving difficult for doing my nails. Dogs are really cute; but really clingy ¬_¬ And the sun's not been out too much, and there's not much bright lighting in this house. So I'm posting some images from the start of the month, until I manage to get some decent pictures.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base colours: Sally Hansen - White On & Barry M - Raspberry
I used tape, a black nail art pen, and a pin for dotting :]

I wasn't sure what to title this post, as it's going to have quite a lot of images. So I'll just get on with it :]

Not the best mani I've ever done, but I got loads of compliments on it :]

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! YAY

Just thought I'd do a quick post to explain that I'll more than likely not be posting until Monday, if I'm lucky.

I do however have lots of polishes to share from Birthday gifts ^_^ so I'll be starting with a haul no doubt. I also picked up a couple of polishes this week for a give away; which will be a while a way but still, I'm a hoarder ^-^

I'm also getting my first tattoo today, so I may post a pic of that next week :]

Have fun kiddies!

WAH Inspired Pick 'n' Mix - Pic Heavy

I actually did these about two weeks ago, so my nails are slightly longer again now. If I was to do these again I'd freehand the leopard print so I didn't have a chance of messing up the Konad xD

Goodies From eBay!!

I'll be posting some WAH inspired nails tomorrow, but as I don't have much time tonight I thought I'd share my little goodies I ordered from eBay maybe a week and a half  back. Been running out of clear gems for a while now, and I've never had more than 20 little pearls (originally I had some from a nail art pack from Poundland) so I'm excited to do some more pearl lined half moons ^_^

These together cost £2.81! Not bad for 2400 gems, and 1800 2mm pearls :]
If anyone would like the name of the eBay seller just let me know.

Lace stamped

I did these a wee while before I even contemplated creating a blog, but I used a different flower for the stamping. I think maybe I used a full rose image. Not sure, anyways, here's the updated version :]

Indigo Glitter

Had to do my nails quick to go out on Thursday and I couldn't decide about what Konad or Bundle Monster to use. So I went with good ol' glittah ^_^

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Barry M - Indigo
Glitter: Maybelline Colorama - Ice Princess
            Rimmel - Disco Ball

You really can't see the prettiness in this photo. Ice princess has uniform micro glitter, and goes on really dense, so I only used one coat, and then two coats of Disco Ball.

Disco Ball has a lovely mix of glitter, tiny silver glitter, tiny holographic glitter, slightly larger lilac glitter, and the same sized blue glitter.

Hope Everyone's had a good weekend!

Rasta Aztec

I've been dying to try the Aztec image on the Bundle Monster plate 221 and I was happy as larry to stamp it in black over a nude base colour, but the other half convinced me to use a few colours. I was doing this in my crappy bedroom lighting.. at about 11pm so I didn't really think they'd come out looking Rasta, using a turquoise and pink, but I liked them anyways :]

Here's what I used. Left - Right:
CND - Stickey
Sally Hansen - White On (not pictured)
Miss Sporty - Hip Pop
Barry M - Lemon Ice Cream
Beauty UK - Turquoise Shimmer
BYS - Black Satin
China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

I started with my base coat, and then did one coat of white so the yellow would be a bit more opaque (it's a bit thin). I then used the yellow to paint a strip down the middle of the nail, when that was dry I used a piece of tape to tape off the yellow from the other sections to get a crisp colour line, and then I painted them too, using turquoise and pink. In the end I did two coats of each colour, so the white wasn't really necessary. I then stamped the aztec design using my favourite black, trying to get the lines to match. And added a top coat.

I went to bed before these were fully dry ;( they needed another top coat in the picture. Woops.

George Swatches

I do love me some George polishes and they haven't failed to deliver this time either. Confusion looks darker here than it actually is, but the shimmer is so pretty. And Meteorite goes on like buttah I've been looking for a darker green cream recently so I'm a bit chuffed with this one. I'm dying to try them for stamping too as they almost only needed one coat.

Confusion - Two coats, no top coat - direct sunlight

Purple Heart Damask

I'll start off by saying I had such a hard time trying to capture all the colour flashes in this polish. It flashes purple, and green, and it's just so drool worthy - couldn't stop looking at my hands. and the formula's amazing, I had no problems at all with dragging, balding, and it was perfect in two coats.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Gosh - Purple Heart
Stamp Colour: China Glaze - Millennium
Plate: BM20
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

You can see the warm purple more here, than post Bundle Monster

BYS - Pouty Purple Swatch

Another quick swatch & a quick stamp. Compared to Fuchsia Flash the formula on this isn't as opaque, it took three thicker coats to achieve bottle colour.

3 Coats in direct sunlight

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: BYS - Pouty Purple
Stamp Colour: BYS - Black Satin
